Welcome to Bingley 25\u2019s Artists Exhibition and Arts Workshops. We are delighted to host artists who live or work locally, and to show their work in six venues. You can browse, chat and even buy artworks. We also have several local groups exhibiting. Perhaps you will be inspired to join a group and get creative. Or even set one up!<\/div>\n

We have artists and groups exhibiting at 6 locations.\u00a0 Five or the locations are open between 10 am – 4 pm on Sunday 4th May, 2025, with Jane Fielder’s Open House taking place 2 pm – 7 pm on 3rd, 4th and 5th May.<\/div>\n

Art workshops\u00a0 take place in the Bingley Baptist Church Hub and will last about 30 minutes. As numbers are limited to 10 places per workshop, please book your free place in advance using the links below to avoid disappointment. Beginners are very welcome!<\/div>\n

11 am Jo Scott – Charcoal Drawing. Jo will lead a charcoal drawing session open to everyone. BOOK HERE<\/p>\n

12 pm \u00a0Louise Garrett – Drawing Out Detail.\u00a0Create mixed media pictures of Bingley\u2019s favourite architectural features. Cut or torn collage material is glued to the paper surface and then details are added by drawing and painting with inks, crayons and paints. BOOK HERE<\/a><\/div>\n

1 pm Nicky Storr – How to Draw.\u00a0Join Nicky for gentle and fun guided drawing sessions using Nicky\u2019s pre-prepared draw along sheets. Learn to draw everything from cats to daffodils. BOOK HERE<\/a><\/div>\n

2 pm Scribble Studios – Inspired by Heritage. This interactive collage workshop is aimed for the whole family. See how heritage can inspire the creation of new mixed media artworks. BOOK HERE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Gallery will be launching its traditional Christmas show on Tuesday 16th Nov (7-9pm) which will then open ever day until Christmas Eve. It is always something a bit special; a chance for regular exhibitors to prepare new work, the past year\u2019s soloists to return with potential Christmas offerings and to give space to new artists who have caught the eye during the year. The front exhibition space in the gallery may have as many as 20 artists work on show. There is always a little uncertainty as to what turns up on installation day, but an eclectic mix can be expected, with no themes, no tonal co-ordination- and a huge range of media- a true Christmas Variety Show, with something to suit all tastes. With concerns over the global supply chain in the run up to Christmas, it is good to know that locally produced goods are still available, with the additional benefits of minimal, transport-related, carbon emissions, support for local producers, and the survival of independent retailers. The Bingley Gallery, has been based on Park Road, Bingley for the past 15 years, originally under the ownership of Jane Fielder and more recently by David Starley.
