Jane Fielder: Original paintings and prints

About the Artist

Jane is probably Bingley’s best known and most well-loved artist and ran The Gallery for 12 years before handing over to David Starley, although she remains very much part of the gallery, curating her own works in ‘Jane’s Room’. Her popular, generally watercolour, ‘Janescapes’ portray familiar surroundings and people in full quirkiness and raise many smiles. However, her talent is far deeper and wider, working in a variety of media, and in some surprising places. Crouched on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square or converting cardboard packaging to artworks in Shanghai, she lets few opportunities pass her by.

As Jane’s main outlet we normally have a good range of her original works framed up and ready to go but please note that due to high turnover (by gallery standards)  the prints on show on this page may not be fully up to date aan may vary from actual stock. The prints are also strictly limited  to a small number, typically 20. We keep a good stock of what is still available, both ready framed, and unframed. For the latter customers are welcome to either find their own framers, or to chose a moulding from our samples for Jane’s husband Rob to frame up with a moulding of your choice (the latter might take from a couple of days to a couple of weeks). From time to time we run out of particular designs, but, unless the limit has been reached, we can usually get new stock given a couple of days. Unmounted prints can also be supplied for posting in a tube.

Bingley ‘Janescapes’ Originals and limited edition prints, framed. Note it is difficult to keep the website up to date of these. much better to visit the gallery.
