Jake Attree Art

Born in York, Jake Attree Artist, lives and works in Saltaire, West Yorkshire and is widely regarded as one of the area’s most successful artists. Although he is often seen around the village with a pencil and sketchbook in hand, his finished works are rarely displayed locally, finding homes in more prestigious galleries further afield.

The painting we are fortunate to have is an earlier work from 1996, inspired by a local scene.. It provides a rare opportunity to see and buy his work locally.

Jake is also a gifted teacher, and we can highly recommend his Saturday morning drop-in art class at the Bingley Baptist Church Hub, just opposite the Bingley Gallery.
