Jane is an artist and former owner of The Bingley Gallery, living and working in Bingley, West Yorkshire, she still remains closely involved with the Gallery.

Having trained initially as a teacher, Jane later studied art, including Textile Design, at Bradford & Ilkley Community College. She left teaching in 1999 to concentrate on painting.

She works in a wide range of media and subjects, but it best known  for her ‘Janescapes’, brightly coloured watercolours that capture her local surroundings, with an eye to the quirky.

The Bingley Gallery continues to be the main outlet of Jane’s work, with a large variety of originals and prints on display in ‘Jane’s Room’ . Prints may also be ordered for Jane’s earlier works that have not reached their edition limits. These can be supplied unmounted (suitable for shipping, rolled), with a card mount, or framed by Rob Fielder using a moulding of your choice.
