Some of you may be familiar with Mick Kirkby-Geddes as the sculptor behind from the Aire Valley Sculpture Trail which runs between Saltaire and Baildon Bridge and we’re thrilled that he has completed some new pieces for the gallery

His medium is welded steel, often incorporating found metal objects, not to mention a little humour. The scale varies considerably. Garden pieces such as the giraffe stand around 2m tall and are galvanised to protect them, whilst smaller pieces such as the dogs and (so cute!) money box-raiding mice are more suited to shelf, mantlepiece or table.
